How do we select places?
- Places must have a Google rating of at least 4.0 and a substantial number of reviews.
- We prioritize long-standing local favorites; street-food spots known for pho, bun cha, and banh mi; restaurants selected by the MICHELIN Guide, including Bib Gourmand selections; and places featured by local and international travel publications.
- We list only places with evidence of having operated within the past year, such as recent visitor reviews or official posts.
- For nightlife, we select places where you can enjoy music, drinks, and atmosphere.
What do “Verified” and “Visited by the operator” mean?
“Verified” means the operator has confirmed through Google Maps and recent visit records that the place is still open.
“👣 Visited by the operator” means the operator has been there in person. However, we do not list a place if recent reviews have turned negative, even if we have visited it. The food and service may have changed since our visit.
